We’re wanting to use this on bulletin boards, brochures and the webpage, so we need it detailed enough that it tells people about the activity, what they can expect, and what it does for them or others, but not so long that its skipped b/c of length or has to get significantly shortened (in ways you may or may not like) before we can put it on the church’s webpage or a handout.
AWANA is an international, non-denominational ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve him. We do this by:
a. creating a fun and welcome environment for children
b. showing God’s love by our words and actions.
c. helping children understand and memorize God’s word
d. presenting the gospel in a way that children can understand
e. reaching out to the families of children
