Core Values
Bible Study and TeachingWe believe the Bible is true, applicable to life and the relevant authority for living (Ephesians 1:22-23; II Timothy 3:16-17).
Strong Community and Fellowship
We desire strong and healthy fellowship with in-depth loving relationships that encourage and support each other in the faith (John 13:34-35; Hebrew 10:24-25; Matthew 18:15-19; 22:36-39; I Thessalonians 5:11).
Spiritual Gifts and Service
We desire to equip and empower the body to accomplish the work of the church and the greater kingdom through the effective use of spiritual gifts (I Peter 4:10; Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:1-8; I Corinthians 12:12-31)
Worship
We value corporate and individual worship and seek to provide an environment that encourages true worship (John 4:21-24; Psalms 95:6-7; 100).
Missions
We desire to be instrumental in helping fulfill the great commission. We are committed to the support and encouragement of missionaries, short-term mission projects and raising up members to go into missions (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 13:1-3).
Marriage and Family
We believe in and seek to teach, support and encourage strong marriages and healthy (spiritual and emotional) families (Malachi 2:15; Deuteronomy 6:6-9; Ephesians 5:22-31).
Spiritual Growth
We encourage spiritual growth through discipleship and personal Bible study (II Timothy 2:2,15; II Peter 3:18).
Stewardship
Both corporately and individually we are committed to being good stewards of the resources of time, money and abilities that God has given us, striving to do the best we can with these resources entrusted to us (Colossians 3:17).
Commitment to Youth
We are committed to strong and healthy spiritual growth and discipleship ministry for children and youth in partnership with parents. We value our nurturing ministry to college students (Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 19:13,14; Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6,7).
Evangelism
We are committed to spreading the good news of the gospel to those who don’t yet know it, empowering people to express their faith confidently and naturally, cultivating purposeful relationships with unbelievers (Matthew 28:18-20; I Corinthians 9:19-23; I Peter 3:15,16).
Prayer
We desire to seek God in prayer corporately and as individuals (Philippians 4:6,7; James 5:15,16; Jeremiah 33:3).
Music
We encourage and recognize the place music has in the worship service and its ability to inspire and encourage the experience and practice of worship. We value both traditional and contemporary music that contribute to worship (Psalm 100:2; Exodus 15:2; II Samuel 22:50; Colossians 3:16)
Believer Focused – Seeker Friendly
Our ministries are in-depth and focused on strengthening the life of the believer, but we also wish to be open and friendly towards the unbeliever, providing a non-threatening safe place to discover God and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:16-19; 4:11-16).
Unity with the Greater Body
We value our relationships with other churches in our community (Psalm 133:1; Romans 15:5).
